The two-day Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme course is specifically designed for both trainee and experienced construction site supervisors. It will equip you with essential knowledge of health and safety procedures that you need in order to effectively supervise construction staff on-site.
The course includes elements such as risk assessment and mitigation of on-site hazards. There is also a one-day SSSTS refresher course for those looking to renew their qualification.
You will be taught by an industry expert in a classroom-based environment. There will be a mix of individual study and group work, and the final assessment will be based on your participation in group activities, your performance in an individual or group presentation, and your score on a multiple choice exam.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded with a Construction Skills Site Safety Plus Certificate, which remains valid for the next five years.
The course is open to both trainee and experienced supervisors, and is particularly suitable for anyone who has recently started working in a supervisory capacity. You should have a fluent command of both written and spoken English.
