Course content

  • Highlighting the PASMA Code of Practice
  • Instructions for how to assemble and disassemble both types of systems, as well as how to move and position them safely.

  • Learning about the safety risks associated with access systems

How is the course taught and assessed?

Attendees to the course have to take part in classroom instructions and participate in a practical environment where actual equipment will be demonstrated upon. Learners will then be required to pass both written and practical assessments.

What qualification will I receive?

Entry requirements

The course is designed to suit employees who have no previous knowledge of working with access towers and systems, but will also serve the ongoing education needs of those who already have some experience in this field. Hence, there are no requirements other than a decent level of understanding English both in written and spoken forms. Some background knowledge on working safely at heights, though not absolutely necessary, will prove beneficial as well.
