The PASMA Combined Towers & Low Level course is structured to include two specific sets of knowledge and expertise. These constitute training in Low Level Access for Users as well as Mobile Access Towers for Users respectively. Learners who successfully complete this course will possess all the required safety protocols in order to work safely with standard mobile access towers and low level access systems. The course includes training for the attendee to properly inspect, erect and dismantle such systems.
Attendees to the course have to take part in classroom instructions and participate in a practical environment where actual equipment will be demonstrated upon. Learners will then be required to pass both written and practical assessments.
Once you have successfully completed this course, you will be awarded the relevant PASMA certification and card which will remain valid for five years.
There are two further courses available for learners who possess the PASMA Combined Towers & Low Level certification. The PASMA Towers on Stairs qualification, and the PASMA Towers for Managers which is geared toward managing teams.
The course is designed to suit employees who have no previous knowledge of working with access towers and systems, but will also serve the ongoing education needs of those who already have some experience in this field. Hence, there are no requirements other than a decent level of understanding English both in written and spoken forms. Some background knowledge on working safely at heights, though not absolutely necessary, will prove beneficial as well.
