The PASMA Towers on Stairs course is designed for operatives who are tasked to assemble, alter, dismantle or work in general on mobile access towers located on stairways, escalators or stepped levels.
The course goes over the relevant legislation, the best conducts of practice and the potential hazards that need to be taken into account when working with mobile access towers.

The PASMA Towers on Stairs course, is delivered by a highly trained construction professional to simulate a classroom-like experience. The course consists of a theory session and practical training. Upon the completion of the course, the participants have to take a multiple-choice theory test and undergo a practical assessment. The course duration is one day.
Upon successful completion of the PASMA Tower on Stairs course, you are awarded with a PASMA Certificate of Competence. Additionally you will receive a Photo ID Card which is valid for the next five years.
Upon receiving the PASMA Certificate of Competence, you may try to achieve certifications on other types of equipment and procedures. There is an extensive range of taught courses to choose from and get you certified on how to use and supervise various types of machinery and equipment.
This course is available only to those who have already passed the PASMA Towers for Users course within the previous five years. Apart from that, you should be in good health and physically fit, generally not have problems or issues with your eyesight, hearing, heart disease or blood pressure.
Furthermore, abstaining from the course is advised if you suffer from epilepsy, fear of heights/vertigo, balance difficulties, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug abuse and any psychiatric illness.
Fluency in spoken and written English is necessary as well.
